Ronnie

We were delighted to receive a picture and news of Ronnie, a Kats&Kits cat who was rehomed by us several years ago. Life had been very hard for him and he had quite a few problems but he was given a lovely new home by Julia who says he is now settled with his housemate Doris. He certainly looks very contented in the picture.

Jumble Sale

A big thank-you to the customers and helpers alike who contributed to the success of our jumble sale on Saturday 10thNovember. Many of our regulars drive a hard bargain but seemed very pleased with their purchases. We had a very good selection of goods, men’s , women’s and children’s clothing , shoes, curtains , sheets, towels, books ,toys and bric-a-brac. There is much searching for designer labels of which there are usually quite a few and a positive scrum at the bric-a-brac where they hope to find a valuable antique that we might have missed. The children are very happy to find that their pocket money goes a long way and usually leave with bags of toys and books.

The funds are much needed and very carefully spent. If you would like to give a donation or to come and help us either at the sanctuary or in a fund raising capacity, please ring 01380 828850.
