25 May 2007 I promised an update on Moses and Luke, the two cats that had been shut in with the reclusive lady for eight years. They are making slow progress and at last are leaving their beds and sitting in the out side pen. Everything is very strange and frightening for them. They have never seen other animals and very few people, and certainly not felt fresh air. The last few years with their elderly owner have been difficult for them and it will take time to build up their trust. Three more new born kittens have joined the Kats&Kits nursery this week. They were found in a textile skip when the lorry had finished its collections, so we have no idea where they came from. Nor do we know if they were born there or someone dumped them. Their mother must have been frantic when she saw that they had gone. Despite being cold and hungry they are doing well. More pictures soon!
