25 March 2008We may not have felt the earthquake in this part of the world but we have certainly experienced some of the worst gales since Ks&Ks started fourteen years ago. For the first time it was felt necessary to move cats from the more exposed individual pens into the safety of the main cat house because of fears that the wind would cause damage or injury. In the event all was well and all the everything stayed in one piece. The cats were quite laid back about it all, I think they know their welfare comes first whatever happens.
A belated thank you to all who supported our jumble sale. The morning was bright and frosty and the queue outside the door at 10 am was the longest we have ever seen. Not quite the first day of Harrods sale but the closest we will see in Devizes. Our thanks also to those people who come with donations of money and food. We are very lucky to have such loyal supporters. Next sale will be on the 26th April, 10am at Devizes Scout hall.
