Good News for Kats&Kits

Devizes has a new mayor Coun John Leighton and we are pleased to hear he is a cat lover, he and his wife care for twelve rescue cats at their home in Devizes. Coun Leighton visited Kats&Kats and we are delighted that he has chosen us as one of his charities for his mayoral year along with the Dorothy House Hospice and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Our best wishes to him for a successful year and we hope he will find time to visit us again.

Kats & Kits is a long established cat sanctuary based in the depth of the UK's mystical Wiltshire countryside, on the edge of Salisbury Plain, near the white horses of Alton Barnes and Westbury.

Run by a small dedicated team we aim to provide a home to rescued cats where re-homing is not a viable option.

This blog documents the daily challenges the group has overcome since 1994 to provide care and shelter for abandonded, stray and unwanted cats.
