We have had very good news to day. Einstein the young black cat that I reported missing last weekend has been found. He was in a garden about a quarter of a mile away from where he went missing, and was recognised by the house owner after she had read about him in the newspaper. He was happy to go into her house and have a good feed until his very relieved owners came to fetch him.
It goes to show, if your pet goes missing the more publicity you get the better, newspapers, posters, flyers and word of mouth, the more people who know the better, and of course remember to ring the vets and rescues *Yes we know Archimedes purportedly said "Eureka" – but we can find no evidence to suggest that Einstein didn’t. However, he did make the following cat related analogy when trying to explain the radio… "You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." Ed |
About Kats & Kits:Kats & Kits is a long established cat sanctuary based in the depth of the UK's mystical Wiltshire countryside, on the edge of Salisbury Plain, near the white horses of Alton Barnes and Westbury. Run by a small dedicated team we aim to provide a home to rescued cats where re-homing is not a viable option. This blog documents the daily challenges the group has overcome since 1994 to provide care and shelter for abandonded, stray and unwanted cats.
